Climate Blowout, concepted and founded by Josie Tucker at Adapt, explored how the music industry can respond to the climate crisis through a conference, live show, talks, late night parties and more at EartH Hackney. The main event in partnership with Bird on the Wire and Music Declares Emergency, was the Climate Music Blowout 2021; a conference and live show to collectively rethink the impact the industry can have in the face of the climate emergency. The event took over the entirety of EartH Hackney with over 1500 people attending the conference and live show raising over £11,000 for selected charities. Adapt also ran smaller fundraising late night parties collaborating with other grassroots communities.
