The Southbank Centre's 75th Anniversary was marked by a site-wide festival celebrating the history of the venue and the eras of culture it has hosted, curated by Danny Boyle. The Queen Elizabeth Hall was the community hub, housing current creative communities. The brief was to create a banner that filled the cavernous space. The aesthetic of the 14 metre hand-made banner references community centres and DIY grassroots culture.
